The Children's Ministry at People's Fellowship, in Lubbock TX, has
sponsored the educational needs of 12 year old Yuri Aneilka Gusman
Padilla, of Nicaragua. Yuri was born on December 14th, 1994, She is in
the fifth grade, and an orphan.
The children were quoted as, "We felt that Yuri was the right one to
sponsor, because she is an orphan, and the literacy rate is so low there."
The Average Life expectancy in Nicaragua is 69 years old, and the
literacy rate is a staggering 68%.
